This year, Salcantay students proudly represented the school at two international Model United Nations conferences. In January, a delegation traveled to Panama City for Harvard National Model United Nations Latin America. For six intense days, our delegates stepped into the role of diplomats, debating global issues while showcasing strong research, negotiation, and critical-thinking skills. With confidence and respect, they defended positions, built alliances, and proposed solutions to international challenges.
Later, eight students attended MMUN 2026 in Rome, participating in committee sessions with delegates from around the world. Beyond the conferences, the students enjoyed meaningful cultural experiences. In Rome, they visited major landmarks, attended an audience with Pope Leo XIV, and visited Our Lady of Peace. They also spent a day in Venice exploring its iconic sites. Both journeys were enriching experiences filled with learning, friendship, and global perspective.
